Why Being Fit Is Not Complicated

I had an interesting discussion on fitness with one of my callers who had tried everything under the sun to become fit but had failed in the effort. She mentioned that Health & fitness was way too complicated. Well as a matter of fact one can’t blame her for this.

If you are passionate about fitness and read a lot of fitness related articles, you are told a variety of suggestions which can make your head spin. It did to me a while ago when a set of highly acclaimed people were of the opinion that running long distance is the best way to burn off more calories whereas some other people  said that just lifting weights will do the trick. In this age of information at our finger tips there is definitely an overload of information. With too much information one does tend to get confused and tend to do nothing since there is not much clarity. Fortunately Fitness need not be a complex problem for people who are looking at turning over a new leaf. In my opinion there are a few simple rules which just about anybody can follow without major disruptions in your schedule

Become more active: If you have an aversion to any kind of exercise, then just try and become more active during your waking hour. It can be a simple solution like standing as much as possible or even going for a leisurely walk to begin the morning. Do not think of it as an exercise but look at it as a way to get your body moving. You can also mix and match and do different activities every day of the week .However to make it a regular routine I would advocate that you make some time during the day where you will be determined to commit for most days of the week no matter how your schedule is. I personally split my workouts in two slots – one first thing in the morning for my Yoga and then, next in the evening times for my swimming, lifting or even running. What I generally do is to mix and match and there is no rigid schedule.

Eat real food & eat less: This is critical. Remember if you do not eat right then no matter how much you exercise or not, you will eventually put on weight and become unhealthy. Aim for real, whole foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. That means stay away from processed, refined, fatty and sugary foods. Veggies, fruits, lean meats, dairy, nuts, beans, whole grains, eggs, seeds are what you should be trying to eat. Make plant based natural food, the main source of your food intake and you can never go wrong. Another important thing is that most people eat too much and lead an extremely sedentary lifestyle. One way to avoid that is by eating slowly and mindfully until you ‘almost full. Another way is to eat smaller meals and watch the portions. Work on consuming real food in limited quantity and reduce your calorie intake if you are looking to lose fat.

Enjoy yourself: Whatever activity you choose make it fun and do it with passion. If you cannot relate to walking then try swimming or even cycling. Important factor here is to do it with passion for most days of the week. When I see people working out, the ones with passion stand out like a beacon among-st those who just do it as a chore. Focus on the fun part and not the hard part. Make the activity fun or you won’t keep it going for too long. Focus on just getting moving and enjoying the activity. Start small, and build it up with small baby steps.

Give it some time: Rome was not built in a day and so is a fit and healthy body. Most people I come across expect to see results in a short span of time. Real fitness rarely happens this way — it’s a process and a lifestyle change. I started out in really bad shape. I was really overweight. All I did in the beginning was to quit smoking and start exercising. A year later I ran my first marathon and eventually became a complete vegetarian but was still kind of fat. Now 4 years later I’m in decent shape — slimmer, more muscular and much healthier. I still have a little stubborn belly fat which I’m working on. I’ll get there, but have accepted the fact that it takes time. You didn’t gain the fat overnight and you won’t lose it that way either. Learn to enjoy the process, activities and the healthy food, and you’ll get healthy and fit almost as an afterthought to this new, amazing lifestyle.

Hope I have made some of you realize that working towards being fit is not as complicated as you think it is. I would love to hear from you about what you do think of my thoughts over here. Do post on my Facebook Page  or on mail me on coach@satishrao.in Would be glad to hear from you.

Stop Comparing Yourself To Others

The one thing, one can do to click on their own low confidence switch is to compare someone’s strength to their own weakness. I have noticed this so many times over the years and was myself not immune to this thought process. This is a sure fire way to lose our focus and clarity of thoughts.

I have noticed over the years that most of us tend to do this exactly at some point of time or the other and develop this as a habit. I am a strong believer that one needs to look at his/her own strengths and see the true value in themselves. The self belief muscle gets much stronger, when you believe in yourself and stay motivated. This will be the key to your own success in the long run. What can one do to ensure you do not compare yourself to others? This is what I intend to discuss below -

Develop self awareness: Sometimes we compare our self, without being conscious about it. The first step in this journey is to become aware on your thoughts. Always be on the lookout for the time and the situation you tend to think this way. What I have realized in my own journey is that over a period of time working towards being self awareness  becomes a habit and the clarity of thoughts begin to improve which is the key to any self development process. There is a huge shift and that is called as Ahaaa Ahaaa moment in Coaching terminology.I am on cloud nine when this happens in my coaching conversation with clients.

Focus on your strength: What you focus on, you do tend to do better. This is something I have learnt the hard way. Flip the coin and instead of focusing on your weakness, begin by looking at what your strengths are. You can then focus and develop on it. Be proud but do not brag about it in front of others. The moment you focus on your strength then your self belief will develop exponentially and  will   be fueled with rocket fuel. Work on using this to your best advantage.

No One is perfect: We all know that no one is perfect and there is always some flaw in each one of us. Therefore do not focus on being perfect every time, but accept that life is not being perfect. It is ok to be not perfect in the things we do at any point of time. I have accepted this long time ago and it has bought about a dramatic shift in my own emotional well being over the years.

Focus on the journey: Life is always  a journey. I focus on the journey and never compare myself with anyone else. If I had compared myself with other Life coaches around the Globe then I would never have enjoyed the exhilarating journey I have undertaken over the years. What I have realized is that it is got nothing to do with what others are doing and what they have, but it has everything to do with what each one of us needs to do and most importantly where each one of us needs to go. If you have clarity of thoughts on these two things then your own journey will be that much more interesting.

Be content with what you have: One sure thing towards unhappiness is to want what others have, which if  you  aspire for, will never have enough of. Begin by focusing on what you have is enough, be it materialistic things, knowledge or just about anything. What we are is an amazing gift bestowed on us. I feel helpless that many do not realize this and aspire to things what others have by comparing themselves to others. Finally if you can find self contentment in this journey then things which you do deserve will eventually find their way towards you. I am not philosophical but that’s how the law of nature works and it cannot be changed by you or me.It is the same for everybody and nature does not practice favoritism, thankfully.

I hope that by not comparing yourself after reading this Blog article you are doing yourself a big favour and channelizing all the positive energy on your wonderful journey ahead. I would love to hear from you. Do take the opportunity to share your experiences or even if you do not agree on my thoughts on my face book fan page or at coach@satishrao.in

How To Stick To Your Healthy Food Habits And Eventually Stay Fit

I am not a big fan of the word ‘Diet’ which according to me, conjures up an image of someone starving, drinking on juices and chewing on greens. However I strongly believe that to be healthy one needs to be disciplined in his/her food intake and always keep a sharp eye in what one is eating.

I put in a lot of focus on eating healthy because we are what we eat; in fact there is a direct relation with respect to your thought process changing drastically when the focus shifts towards eating healthy. However some thing’s as we all know are easier said than done. One needs a small excuse to get derailed out of this healthy habit and it is difficult to get back on track, especially with the not so conducive environment around us. I’m not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination and often will give in to temptations. However I’ve gotten better over time, because practice makes perfect and have learned a lot of great tips from different sources over the years.Today we’re going to look into some of tips and habits that I’ve found useful in sticking with a healthy food plan in my own journey.

Know your motivation: I met a good friend of mine who has completely changed his eating habits. when I did asked him what made him work on this, I was jazzed when he mentioned that he was looking to do a health seminar shortly .Wow that got me inspired and made me realize that if you get a grip on your biggest motivation then you can easily avoid temptation. When you have a powerful motivation like this and remember the same when you’re facing temptation, it’s easier to be strong when you’d otherwise give in.

Choose foods you love: What works for one might not necessarily mean anything to you. So if you are not a raw salad person then do not beat yourself into making it your staple diet. I believe that there is a huge difference when you change the image of the food projected in the mind’s eye. Don’t eat foods just because they’re good for you — eat them because they’re healthy and you love them. For me fresh fruits, vegetables and mostly home cooked food is way to go forward. For someone else it might be fish, eggs and lean meat. Spend some time in figuring out the foods you love, that are healthy and you’ll stick with this much longer.

Out of sight and out of mind: This is an amazing logic when it comes to having junk food at home. If you have junk food in your home you’re more likely to give in at some point and eat it. However if you clear your home of these foods you won’t have that temptation. Work on not having anything around you. I have observed that what is bought for the kids in a house is consumed mostly by the parents. Ensure that you get rid of stuff which is sugary, salted and loaded with Tran’s fats. You will not only be doing yourself a huge favor but also for your family too.

Eat every couple of hours:This is an amazing way to spike your metabolism and keep it up at a constant level through the day. What this does is, it not only helps you burn more calories but also helps you in regulating your hormones which kicks in when you begin to starve. Starving plays havoc with your mood swings and decision making especially with the women folks. Work on eating small meals every two to three hours and do not allow your system to run empty at any cost.

Finally if you indulge, then burn it off: Being human, the best of the strategies may fail for one and that is perfectly ok. Do not fret and go on a self sabotage ride. Just get back on track and re-align with your focus. Look at this as a small one off incident and go out there and burn off the calories. It could be by doing the things you love the most be it walking, running or any exercise for some time.

I am sure most of you will go off the track at some point of time in your life. The most important thing to do is to get back on track asap.I would Love to hear from you on how you work on eating healthy. It’s Time To Stop The Blame Game

Have you noticed someone who always blames others for their shortcomings? Well do not be surprised, there are quite a few around  us who do not take responsibility for their actions and find solace in blaming others.

Over the last couple of years, as a Professional Life Coach, I get people reaching out to me from across the globe with respect to the challenges they are facing. Surprisingly a common denominator I could see, was that they always blamed their environment, society, partner or at times themselves for their unhappiness, shortcomings and problems — leading to anger, resentment and jealousy. Sounds familiar, then read on to decipher the code to move out of it at the earliest since it is a dis-empowering habit you are cultivating.

Most people look outwards when they face problems. It’s not that, we are the reason for all our problems but a lot of our difficulties can be traced back to what we believe. Our beliefs, in turn, influence our actions when faced with challenges. What I have realized is that it will inadvertently make one, not to take any responsibility for one’s setback. I come across many people who actually believe that external factors are responsible and unfortunately do not want to accept that they are the pivot in dealing with their own problems. To a certain extent I believe that it is largely a defense mechanism in humans. I also see that people around us also influence us in a large way in planting these thoughts in our sub-conscious mind. Some of the things I would advocate one can do to begin with are -

Shift your focus: When you tend to shift your focus from external things, then the small shifts begin to happen from the inside. Work on turning your focus from something you do not want, to something you want. What this usually does is that it helps shift your energy from complaining to taking positive actions

Replace Negative thoughts with positive: I am a strong believer & practitioner of replacing any negative thought or energy within ourselves with a positive thought. When I began writing my Blog more than a year ago,I initially thought that my writing was pathetic and no one would read it. why waste time? However, I told myself that irrespective of whether anyone read the blog, I need to keep on writing and there will be no looking back. At the least I will have a sense of discipline which is the most important takeaway. If I had succumbed to my own negative thought then I would not be writing close to my hundredth blog now in just about a year.

Find a mentor: Look out for a mentor at work or in your personal life. A mentor can be just about anybody who you feel would have walked the path and is non judgmental  What this does to you is it gives you opportunity in working with somebody to work on your own goals. I mentor myself and this gives me immense joy. See what suits you. if my Facebook Page or writing gives you positive insights then make the best use of it. At the end of it all it is the change from inside which matters the most.

Learn to let go: Remove something from your life that doesn’t serve you to make room for something better and new. You never know what you might let in when you let something go from your life. I have let go of so many things. These have also included materialistic things and the space which is created can be filled up with positive empowering things be it materialistic or even thoughts.

When I blame others for my misfortunes, it shows lack of education. When I blame myself for my misfortunes, its shows that my education has begun. When I blame neither others nor myself, it shows that my education is complete. When you move from different compartments of thinking, your life around you will also change for the better and one thing I can guarantee you is that the journey will be far more exhilarating than reaching the final destination. Most of the time we are so focused on the final destination that we do not see things around us changing slowly but surely. I hope these words have indeed made you take up ownership of your own actions and created inroads into making you more assertive. I would love to hear from you as to how much of an impact ‘the blame game’ is having in your own life. would the action points discussed above make it more manageable in your own life. How Do You Manage Work Life Balance?

I met up a friend recently who, though as Young as me, looked jaded and worn out .When I asked him what happened to him in the last decade, he replied with the all too familiar story of how his work life balance had been completely ruined. There was nothing much according to  him in his life other than just work, work and work.

Now with anything related to life in general and more so health in particular, I am all ears. I have not forgotten my recent past where at different points of my own life, I too had gone through this curve. I know exactly how one is trapped when they look at life with a myopic vision. This got me thinking post our meeting on the drive back about how to actually carve out a near to perfect Work Life Balance.

Create Space in your life: For anything to fit in, there has to be some space created. The best thing to do is to create a big picture of your own life and see how things are working out. See yourself in a movie going through the day @ work and outside work. Keep a sharp eye on all the things you do and focus on things you can eliminate. I am aware some things might be difficult to overcome but over a period of time, if you work at it, the day is not far when you can get over it. Learn to say no and tell people that you can no longer commit to doing something. It’s not always easy but remember that this is your life and you should do what you really want to do. Work on this over time and create the space in your life that you need for the things you love. Don’t just use it up in front of television or worse on other non-productive activities.

Create that Balance: Once you have created some space to do the things you love then it is just moving one more step in doing the things you really Love to do. I remember when I was working in a regular Job like most of you; I used to make some time diligently during my work day, once a week, to build on a habit which has made me what I am right now. I would advocate working on creating a balance between several things that you love rather than just one thing. You might have heard the saying that Variety is the spice of life and so it does goes with creating the fine  balance. As with everything, begin small and slowly move around to bigger things.

Set your limits: I come across many people who consistently spend 10-12 hours in their work. This has unfortunately become the norm with ever increasing urge to get to the top at any cost, most of the time by paying a hefty price tag in terms of your own health. What I’ve found is that if you set a limit (say 8 or 9 hours) you’ll find a way to do the essential tasks within that limit. That might mean, eliminating the non-essential tasks, cutting back on time-wasters such as spending too much time on a social network or even near the coffee vending machine.

Schedule time for yourself: I come across many people who make time for everything else except themselves. Schedule time for yourself, doing the things  you would love doing by yourself and makes you at peace. For me reading and swimming are the two most important things. I do it without being distracted for hours together at times. See what works for you and work on it to see a huge makeover.

Examine your life regularly: I use my swimming time as a time of reflection. I would strongly recommend you should use your alone time similarly, if possible. Often our lives become derailed from the track we set it on and as a result we don’t realize where our lives are going until we really examine them. we can get so caught up in a routine that we don’t realize we can change it. Regular self reflection is the answer: think about how your life is going, how you’re spending your time and decide whether you need to make changes. Then schedule time to make those changes immediately — or make the changes right away if possible.

I personally believe that a good Work –life balance is not a mirage. Work on some of these if you find it practical and I can guarantee you that when you really want something then things will work out magically.Sometime it is prudent to begin by not thinking of the end in mind.Take the first few steps and surprise yourself.I would Love to hear from each one of you as to how you are managing the fine balance of your work & Life.Do put up your comments on my Facebook Fan Page or you can mail me on coach@satishrao.in

How To Be Absolutely Focused In Times Of Adversity

As an individual One is sure to face major obstacles in their life journey. This, if worked on properly, can make you stronger in the days to come. I generally see people who are absolutely focused on their short or long term goals but at the first sign of an obstacle, they start to doubt themselves.

Challenges, difficulties and temporary setbacks are bound to happen to every human being. The one who looks at it in the eye and faces up to it is eventually whom we talk about in the long run. I personally feel that without these setbacks, you could not have learned what you needed to know and developed the qualities of your character. My plea is to embrace adversity and accept it as a natural part of human evolution. However at times, do step back and see how best you can eventually learn from it. What i have learnt over the years by working with people in helping them overcome their biggest challenges in their personal or professional life is what I intend to discuss below.

I strongly believe that much of your ability to succeed comes from the way you manage life in general and the Stress factor. The key characteristic I have observed with some of my own clients is that they recognize the inevitability of a temporary setback and accept it as a natural part of one’s life. The euphoric feeling I, as a Life Coach, will always Savour is not when they work on avoiding problems but when they do come face to face with adversity – learn from them and respond with a positive attitude. Some of the cues I have put across here for each one of you to work on your own vision in spite of adversity are -

Manage stress through a positive approach: over the years i have realized that by being optimistic,it is much easier to move beyond the initial turbulence and respond quickly through a positive mindset. It was a herculean effort for me at one stage, but over a period of time it has become more of a habit. What I personally feel is that, one needs to counter the negative feeling by re-framing the event either of the past or present and make it appear positive in some way. Well as a Life Coach I always do this with my clients and help them re frame the events in their mind. Hence the change is effective and most importantly permanent.

Move Forward and develop an attitude: It is prudent to move forward and only by forward momentum can one reach their destiny. Resolve in advance that no matter what happens, you will not allow the situation to get you down. You will respond with a constructive and positive attitude. You will take a deep breath, relax and look for whatever good the situation may contain. Most of the times when we change the direction of our vision then our biggest questions are answered. Developing an attitude is nothing but programming your sub-conscious mind. The easiest way is to talk to yourself and communicate through with positive thoughts and actions. I am a big believer of whatever is expressed is impressed. Whatever you say to yourself or others is impressed deeply into the subconscious mind and is likely to become a permanent part of one’s personality. Hence you can see my Facebook Fan Page is filled with tons of materials on positive thoughts and doable actions.

Accept that you need to fail to eventually succeed: Remember that everyone who is successful, has failed so many times. I always give the example of how we as children, fell down so many times when we began to walk on our own two legs. If our parents had given up, then most of us would have given up and stopped trying. This lesson I feel somewhere is forgotten in our own journey called life.

Keep your vision on your goals: When things go wrong temporarily, Resolve to maintain a positive attitude, be cheerful, and resist every temptation toward negativity and disappointment. View a disappointment as an opportunity to grow stronger, bigger and talk about it to yourself and others in a positive way. I am a strong believer that our thoughts create our words and eventually actions. I always encourage my clients during my coaching session to respond to problems by changing their language from negative to positive. Whatever may be the situation the crux is the same. what matters is the way each one of you interprets the situation to makes it sound and appear completely different in the mind. Working on your vision towards your biggest goals takes some effort. I am aware and walked the bridge, it does not happen in a day but the most important knowledge is that it is very much possible.

I hope the above words have given you a paradigm shift in working on your biggest goals with a different approach. I would as usual love to hear from each one of you as to how you manage to work on your own big, audacious goals. Do feel free to share your knowledge or thoughts on my Face book Fan Page or even mail me on coach@satishrao.in

Can You Help Me Gain Weight?

Off late I get many queries from people who, yes you read it right, want to gain weight. No I am not talking about Martians here, but people like you and me who are slightly different because their body structure and metabolism works in a certain way. Believe me, it is still an uphill journey when you want to put on some healthy weight and not Fat.

For me, A healthy lifestyle is like a chair where the four legs are – eating healthy, good sleep pattern, regular exercise, meditation& visualization. Without wasting any more time I am going to tell you where you can begin if you belong to the minuscule percentage of people who want to gain weight. The points discussed below would also be applicable to many young kids who hit the gym and are trying to put on some serious muscle mass also.

Focus on your eating habits: I am a big advocate of eating healthy and at regular intervals of time. I personally manage to eat every 2-3 hours in a day and it’s not necessarily a 3 course meal every time. Focus on replacing some of the unhealthier things you might eat with healthy things like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein (lean meats, poultry and fish or vegetarian protein like nuts, beans, tofu, soy meats, etc). The idea here is to keep your metabolism always at a higher level and not allow it to fluctuate. As a thumb rule I always try my best not to eat more than half the quantity of food as much as my own fist size. The logic here is that usually one’s stomach is as big as one’s fist and that can be used as a good indicator.

Ensure a good sleep pattern: I see this one area along with poor eating habits playing havoc with people’s weight. As with any healthy habit look at ensuring your sleeping pattern is the same through the week and do not fluctuate even during the weekend. A good seven-eight hours of sleep is what is recommended. I would highly recommend this for people who have been struggling to gain some healthy weight.Since compromising on your sleep does short circuit the system.

Regular exercise habit: A good exercise habit is always the key for a healthy mind and body. It is the same for someone who is looking for a weight gain plan. You don’t need to become a bodybuilder but there’s no way to build muscle without some kind of exercise. Weights are best for this. You don’t need to do a lot of exercises and spend hours doing them. I would suggest starting with simple exercises like pushups, crunches, lunges, squats with no weights and pull-ups that you can do at home. After a few weeks you can add some dumbbells or a barbell with weights and do some compound exercises like squats, dead lifts and the like.
Work on focusing the entire big muscle groups irrespective whether you are a lady or a guy. The best strategy is to work on your overall body and not focus on any particular muscle groups which are easier but are only of cosmetic value.

Meditation & Visualization: I personally feel there are amazing results in meditation. Even by spending 10-15 minutes in a day you can then move to the next step which is visualization. Once you begin to visualize yourself being healthier and gaining healthy weight, you are bound to make the changes in the sub-conscious level which according to me is the key. The benefits of meditation & Visualization are plenty but with respect to the topic of weight gain it is like a catalyst which influences the muscle to grow more rapidly. They help develop the connection between the mind and the body.I for one while working out, focus on the muscle and feel it grow in my own mind.So if you see me while i am working out  I usually have a dead serious expression.

I’m not an expert but I have done a lot of reading on this topic and that’s what I can recommend. I've used these methods to build some muscle although my focus has been more on losing fat than on building muscle. I hope to change that once I get a flatter stomach and move into the single digit fat percentage zone. What I have mentioned might not be very specific to an individual but it does cover the most important aspect of making you move into a weight gain mode. Like so many of the people around you, there will be a time when you will pick things up on your own. In case you do have a challenge or know someone who you feel might be going through this challenge, then do tell them to connect with me on my Face book Fan Page or even mail me on my ID  coach@satishrao.in I will be glad to see how best i can help them.

How To Make “ME TIME” A Real Possibility.

Does the day just zoom past you without you having anytime for yourself and you end up going to bed tired thinking why a day has only 24 hrs and not more? I always address this question by saying that even the president of the United States has only 24 hours in a day. It does not matter who you are, as long as you manage your time well and it is not Rocket Science we are talking about. I have gone through this journey myself as a result of which, I have come up with my own rules and guidelines which have worked wonderfully for me. I am sure if we look in the same direction it is just a matter of time before you begin to manage your time more efficiently.

Let me take my own life here. I had no time whatsoever to do anything. It was a rushed affair every day in the morning. I used to jump from meeting to meeting and most of these too were a rushed affair. I had committed myself to a social responsibility and that took most of my time after work with a series of things to do till late in the night. In midst of this I always wanted to do things which I am doing right now – write about what I am passionate about ,exercise, do yoga or even take some time off in a day to do nothing. Finally I decided to take control and not be more of a driftwood.
I decided that my life is my own. I took time out to decide what I really wanted my life to be like. Then I designed my life and made a series of decisions to get my life to what I wanted it to be.It can be that way for you to the extent that you’re willing to make changes. Even if you just want to free up a little time for a hobby or for doing something relaxing, you can do that. I can guarantee you, that once you see the small forward movements, the momentum will take over and you will be surprised with your own actions. Some of the things which I did to help me manage my own time more efficiently are

Take out some time: This is an incredible powerful you can add in your To do list. You need to create a specific amount of time say about an hour where you will be absolutely not disturbed. With this block of time, take a look at your life with some perspective. Is it what you've always wanted? How would you get to where you've always wanted to be? What do you enjoy doing, but don’t have enough time to do? What things actually fill up your day? Are there things you could drop or minimize to make more time? Some of my biggest ideas and answers I get is  during this time. I usually schedule this in the mornings.

Begin to say No: I know this is difficult. It was a big challenge for me to say No for things which would eat into my time and make me that much less productive. When I began to work on this, I could feel a radical shift in me and now I am so much better at it. Get super protective about your time and say “no” to everything but the essential requests.

Delegate better: I have learnt over the years that the best managers and Leaders can delegate extremely well. Even though I had large teams I always worked on delegating the work and never took up something on myself. If necessary spend a little time training the person to whom you’re delegating the task but that little time spent training will pay off as time saved later. Delegating allows you to focus on the core tasks and projects you should be focusing on. This is the key because you need to be in your best state of mind when manoeuvring through critical stages.

Remove the distractions: All of us in our life have people, things which distract us and makes us lose our focus on our goals. It is very easy to fall prey for distractions unless you work on it. Visual clutter is one thing which distracts me for sure. Ensure all things which are not required are removed from your near vicinity. With respect to people, it depends on who they are. You might want to work on it more diligently. See if you can eliminate as many of these as possible — the more you can focus, the more effective you’ll be and the less time you’ll waste. That equals time saved for the good stuff.

Working and making some time for yourself is the key in self development. I see lesser number of people spending time on themselves. I remember these words from Arthur Lacey “The real problem of leisure time is how to keep others from using yours.”I come across so many people who spend their leisure time doing the most unproductive stuff. if they can just step back, get a grip of things and begin to work on their own improvement be it in their health or mind then they would be doing themselves and people around them a big favour .I would Love to hear from you if you disagree or agree on any points on my Facebook Fan page or Coach@satishrao.in
