Why Earning Trust Is A Step Closer To Success?

Have you been asked this question –  “how can you make people trust you”?Well this conversation came my way when I was interacting with a wannabe life coach who was finding climbing the trust plateau very difficult.
Her question made me think through the weekend and I realised that I would not have come this far as a professional Life Coach had i not worked on building trust with people over the years. All of you know that faith will eventually take you only so far, but what ultimately makes you land at the destination is trust.
Each one of my clients who have seen some incredible results have given me an opportunity to be their Life & Wellness Coach inadvertently “due to the trust developed between us”. Therefore I tried to figure out the things I have been doing over the years which has helped me develop great trust with my past & present clients.
The points given below are things I sincerely believe in and it will help you develop your trust with people who matter to you, be it in your personal or professional life.
Transparency is the first step:In this new world of information at our fingertips, it is not much of a challenge to be transparent in terms of what we do. Do not understand me wrong when I say transparent. It  need not necessarily mean sharing everything and anything in the open world, but using your judgement to ensure that people can see through you.
This is critical in any relationship be it as a coach like me or probably if you are a struggling parent or even a CEO. When you tend to build walls around,  then at most times people do not make the effort to see through the wall. Just like any other empowering habit, this takes time but it is very doable when you begin in earnest.
Consistency is a step by step approach:Doing things on a more than  regular basis will ensure that you become consistent. Once people around you  tend to see that you are doing something on a more than regular basis, then they open their trust armour which incidentally happens at the subconscious level.
For example I have never missed writing my Blogs and posting it twice a week even once. Therefore I am sure some of my readers would have developed some amount of trust in me since I have made an effort to be consistent. Working on being consistent in one area, will eventually make you consistent in other critical areas of your life and that according to me is the icing on the cake.
Truth always prevails:Most of the things I write about are to do with my own life, though I always make an effort to relate with my readers. Therefore I always try and put my thoughts down as they are and this has struck a chord with  many people who also take the effort to acknowledge the same.
In this world where all of us are exposed to so much of negativity and mistrust, communicating about my own real stories of hardship, achievement, success and failures has helped  in developing a trust with my readers over the last couple of years.
Prove you are trustworthy: Trust doesn’t exist at the outset because people need to prove they are trustworthy. This is the exact reason I spend an hour on a “No obligation introductory call” at no cost with anyone who is looking at hiring me as a coach. I have also ensured that any client who signs up with me, has an option to discontinue with me if she/he wants to back out with a 100 % refund.
I don’t just say this in words, but also document this to ensure people who come to work with me, with some of their biggest challenges begin their incredible journey with absolute trust and confidence. This according to me is critical, especially when stakes are high and people are making critical life altering decisions.
Working on developing trust is an art, which people can see through if you are not 100% committed. I always believe that once you create a situation where people trust themselves then you are just one step away from walking with them as their trusted ally in this incredible journey called life.
I believe that trust is one of the most important factors in any area of our life and sincerely do hope that each one of you do begin to work on “developing this one aspect”.
As always I would love to hear from you, on trust in this present world and how much of a difference it has made in your own life at  my mail ID coach@satishrao.in or my Face book Fan page.

Why Eating Raw Food Is Always A Healthy Choice

Have you eaten raw food at times & felt more energized at the end of the day?Well in this case I am talking of raw vegan food and sorry to disappoint some of you, it is not about Sushi.
I have been working on including more raw foods like fruits, vegetables and legumes over the last couple of months, to see how my body responds and can already feel the difference. I go completely raw, post 1800 hrs right now and eventually would love to improve on the percentage of my food being raw during the course of the day.
Eating cooked & processed food is something which is ingrained in each one of us from a very small age. Just like working on breaking any particular habits which I have written over the years, it takes time & persistence. However over the last couple of months I have worked on ensuring that at the least one meal is completely raw and given below are the amazing results I have noticed  -
More energy: You will know what I am talking when you include more raw food in your menu. As some of you know by now, I exercise only in the evening and have completely shifted to eating raw food post my exercises. This has completely altered my energy levels because I include a couple of  fresh fruits and dry nuts in the last meal plan of the day.
I have noticed that my energy levels have increased by a few notches over the last couple of months. Try this and you will be singing the same tune in no time. Also if some of you do remember me shredding a little more over the last couple of months  is due to this one reason alone, other than of course change in my workouts.
More clarity in the head: Well one thing I am sure of is that my thought process has changed once I have begun to eat more raw food. You can put that down to the increase of antioxidants in the food. Also anything raw when it comes to fruits & vegetables, does seem to have more nutrients and life in general in them. The body does respond “especially the thinking” when one increases the intake of fresh fruits and vegetables is what I have seen in myself and also with some of my own clients.
For once you can eat more: Well have you come across anyone falling sick due to overeating fresh fruits & vegetables?. The logic is that if you are a big eater, try eating fresh cut vegetables and fruits. I will guarantee you that you cannot not overeat. In case you do so then rest assured that you will not feel like a pregnant duck.
Some days I know that I do tend to overeat but since it is raw food mostly I do not beat myself, knowing that it will not derail my calorie intake by much.
You can play your role as a Greenpeace activist: This will help if you are on the lookout for wasteful energy usage like electricity, cooking gas & fuel. By eating raw, at the end of the evening you will play a small role in ensuring that we are paying our dues in reducing the carbon footprint.
So on hindsight eating raw is also being more socially responsible right.Yep I will proudly wear  this tag anytime.Any small effort from each one of us to leave this place better is a positive step in the right direction.
By the way, I never would want to advocate that someone move on to a 100% Raw food diet. See what suits you and move on in a step by step process.  I am progressing from being an omnivore to a vegetarian right now  and then look forward to being a complete vegan in the near future.
Look at an option of increasing the raw food percentage gradually  and you will notice immediate results for sure.
As always I would love to hear from you as to what your thoughts are on the raw food meal plan. Do you practise it and have seen similar  results? You can reach me at my mail ID coach@satishrao.in or my Facebook Fan page.

It Is Time To Face Your Fears

Are you always chained to your fears, which stop you from making the biggest changes in your life? Well fret not because you are not alone. Having worked with people in helping them overcome some of their biggest fears, be it personal or professional I have given below how each one of  you can face up and also overcome your fears.
Fear is nothing but a state of mind and each one of us has the power to magnify it or make it insignificant. I will guarantee you that the images of your biggest fears are most of the time huge and menacing in the minds eye. As a Life Coach, I work with people in reducing the intensity of this image & helping people like you, flip the fear mindset to carry out actionable things on the ground.
To begin with there is a process which I follow, when I work with people in helping them overcome some of their biggest fears and it is no different when it comes to my writings. Some of the things I have noticed & learnt  over the years where I feel one can begin are -
Stop hiding from the outside world: Most of the time, people learn to work around the fear factor by hiding from reality. Somewhere they find comfort in not facing the reality and pretend to live under an illusion.  I was guilty of doing the same and began to take some massive decisions to overcome this; I discovered so many hidden dreams in myself, that I had buried deep inside a blanket of satisfaction and comfort. Once you do begin to reduce the insulations, then it will help you come out into the open and face up to the fears.
Embrace the fears: Embracing the fears will not make them disappear. On the contrary it will help you create an opportunity and help you to move in the direction of your dreams. When I began Coaching people I had to embrace my own fears of working with people’s lives and facilitate them to take some of the biggest life altering decisions. Now when you work with a client day in and day out in helping them take decisions “which can make them or break them” one cannot afford to be fearful.
Once you walk towards the fears, I have seen some of the biggest fears crumble like a pack of cards & I challenge each one of you to do the same. Embracing your fear is so much more effective than fighting it. Fighting will drain your energy, while accepting your fear and still pursuing your path will increase your energy. This particular learning did take me years to develop and put it as words for all of you.
Listen to your gut: Do you know that the strongest and most powerful of all our instincts is our gut feeling, according to latest research reports. Well one of the reasons is that it is the closest to the nervous system and the congregation of all the nerves from different parts of the body. Massive changes began to unfold in my own life, when I went with my own gut feeling.
As with all the things, begin small and in no time if you are conscious about your gut feeling, you will become good at it. Working everyday in strengthening your own gut feeling is a priceless investment you can do in the long run.
Replace the words: Are you aware that the kind of words you use makes your nervous system react in a particular way. Well all the affirmations and beliefs statements work on this principal. Work on using more empowering words in your everyday life and in no time you will be living it.
We are all the time in conversation with our own nervous system, through words and images and one of the easiest thing according to me to work on one’s fear is to change these into empowering ones.
Dig into the big dreams: Some of our biggest fear slayers are in our dreams. So go back and dig into the past and think of some of the biggest dreams which make you connect to your old passion and emotions. See if you can begin to work on them. Once you bring this in the open & work on the same, the law of the universe begins to work if you persevere with focus and dedication.
I have seen far too many people succumbing to their fears and living a much compromised life. Well overcoming the fear is the first step, which according to me is the hardest, but once you overcome this and move on then there is no stopping you.
As always, I would love to hear from you, on your biggest fears in your life which are stopping you from doing what you love on my mail id coach@satishrao.in  or FaceBook Fan Page.

How Does One Sharpen The Brain?

Let’s admit that the one thing which all of us want is to ensure that we have an edge over others when it comes to thinking right and fast. One thing which actually differentiates the wheat from the chaff is not only a smarter but a faster brain.
Even though most of us have been gifted with the most complex organ in the universe,we hardly use more than a miniscule percentage of its potential. During my Wellness Coaching sessions, I come across people who want to specifically work on sharpening their Brain.
Even though there is no one way, I have seen over the years that some of the things given below will give you a heads-up for sure
Eat healthy: Well this one is a No brainer. When you eat healthy your body responds accordingly. However there is something else one can do on improving the condition of the occupancy of the penthouse and that is to eat food rich in Omega 3 and stick to the recommended 4-5 servings of fresh fruits & vegetables.
Well the more is better but looking at the practical side of life, look at 2-3 servings to begin with and include at least one food rich in omega 3 daily.I have seen drastic changes in the way my own mind functions, when I switched over to this one habit. You will begin to see the difference in couple of weeks for sure.
Stick to good old reading: With advent of technology, most of the people I interact with spend far too much time looking at an electronic display. Even though it is no doubt hassle free and easy, stick to reading something from the good old book for at least 30-45 minutes in a day. What this specifically does according to me is that, it helps one to develop concentration. Even though I use technology and my work is absolutely paperless, I make it a point to read for at least couple of hours from books, magazines & newspapers every day without fail.
Challenge yourself: What I do mean by this is that, doing things repeatedly will eventually make you do things at the sub conscious level. So look at doing the things you do differently – say use the opposite hand to brush the teeth and eat food. Taking a new route to your work/home will also help the brain to think differently and keep it challenged.
You will eventually activate the new neural pathways of the brain which at times will never have been used. This helps in reinforcing the neural pathways which will be easy to use going forward. Have you tried using something new? Initially it will be tight but over a period of time it tends to become more flexible.Well the same logic works, with our Brain to a large extent.
Exercise Exercise Exercise: Once thing which will pump more oxygen rich blood to the brain is exercise. Resistance training over here gets more brownie points, than cardio because the more time you spend lifting in the gym, the brain tends to focus more on what the body is doing. Also if you are someone like me who visualizes while lifting, then it is called the “body mind connect.
Even a couple of times of lifting will do you a world of good.If you thought all the gym rats only go to develop the muscle, well you can’t be more wrong than this.
Take a breather: When you work non stop then you are compromising on the efficiency. Stick to the thumb rule of going for a small walk after 75-90 minutes, when at work. Are you aware that the brain can perform better, if it is done in intervals of 75-90 minutes? When I began doing this, my own productivity and thought process went on a overdrive and am a big advocate of this.
Try taking small breaks like I do by spending some time talking to my work partner (Kaiser) who always is more interested in what I am going to give him to eat. By the way Kaiser is my Lab who is always with me while I am @ work
Practise Meditation: The easiest thing you can do without any equipment is to practise meditation along with deep breathing. One easy way is to follow the logic of 1-2-1 breathing pattern. Here you breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 8 seconds and then breathe out for 4 seconds.
Now in short what this does specifically to the brain is that it pumps it up with oxygen and removes the toxins from each of the cells. If you practise this just after you get up and as the last thing before you go to sleep for 10 minutes it will make a phenomenal difference to your thinking and thought process.
I am sure you would be jazzed to work on sharpening your most powerful organ if you have come so far in my Blog. Would love to hear from you as to how you feel you could make use of these thoughts in your life and with people whom you care about on my mail Id coach@satishrao.in or on my Facebook  Fan Page

How Do You Move Out Of Your Comfort Zone?

My last Blog got some amazing response from my readers, especially with respect to the – “Frog in hot water syndrome” words that I had used. What I meant by that was by being in your comfort zone over a period of time, you will become comfortable in that situation.
Are you aware that a frog, when placed in water which when gradually heated, will eventually die by being cooked.
The Irony here is that many people go through something similar in their own lives, be it having a bad job, partner and more often than not financial instability.
Over the years I have seen that one achieves greatness by pushing the limits. According to me a comfort zone is nothing but a mental space you live in. Here in this zone, there are well defined boundaries within which you feel a sense of emotional security with your life and your decision making.
If you are going through the following emotions like excessive stress, envy, excuses, self criticism & stagnation in life, then you should read on to overcome the urge to stay put in the comfort zone and do whatever it takes to move forward. To begin with -
Overcome the fear barrier: Fear of failure and sometimes even success, stops most of us from moving out of our comfort zone. Work on narrowing down as to what is the cause and effect and how much of this is impacting you in your life. Pick on a couple of things – ideally 2-3 things & begin to work on the same.
Take external help if required to overcome this and do whatever it takes to walk out of this fear barrier. As with most of our imagined mountains, this is also an emotional wall and it usually breaks down, once you begin to work at it. Most of my clients tend to be surprised when they overcome this wall and move ahead towards their goals.
There is no perfect time: If you wait for the perfect time to begin, then usually it never happens. Accept the fact that there will never be a perfect time for anything in life.We need to work towards making it perfect. When I moved out of my corporate job, nothing was perfect and  I did not even know what I would be doing.
I did it anyway and figured out that I need to take a calculated risk in moving out of my own comfort zone. In hindsight If I had not made the move, then I would have still been living paycheque to paycheque.
Accept the results of your actions: This is important ,once you have decided to take a few baby steps. Remember most of the time things do not go the way we want it to. Do yourself a favour and do not beat yourself up on the first few instances. Try not eating the whole whale at once but break it into smaller chewable bits, which might take more time but will ensure that it keeps you grounded.
I always looked forward to the outcome, when I moved out of my own comfort zone and approached things with an open mind. I always tell people to look at life as a marathon and not like a quick sprint.
Change your environment: Sometimes a simple thing such as meeting up with people who dare to do the things most of us do not even attempt, will bring out your adventurous side. I do not miss a single opportunity to read or if possible meet up with people who do this on a consistent basis because there is always lot of learning’s to be picked up.
I have seen this in my own life, that when I have done the things which seems impossible at one time – be it traversing through the highest motorable roads or staying in the coldest inhabited place in the world. This has made me tap more into my adventurous side in life also.
Visualize your success: Finally by working on creating the neural pathways in your own mind, you are preparing to take the risk associated with the new steps.. What according to me is the biggest takeaway from visualization is that, while execution is ongoing, the mind does not look at the flight or fight response, because it has already experienced it a couple of times while you are visualizing. This makes a huge difference when I work with my clients on some of their biggest challenges.
I am sure some of you are ready to take the first steps in moving out of your comfort zone and I will be more than happy to hear from you if you would like me to join you in this journey. Do reach out to me at my mail Id coach@satishrao.in or on my FB page www.facebook.com/B.N.Satishrao.

What And When You Eat Does Matter For A Healthy Life

Most of us are bombarded with info about what to to eat for good health. However I will be touching upon something more critical regarding when to eat the right kind of food.
This according to me helps in maximizing the “fat burn” and most importantly in keeping emotional eating at bay.
Over the years, I have worked on things which I put up on my blogs after getting convinced that it does make a difference. If you are following me on my Face book page then you are aware that I share a lot of information on a regular basis as to how to space your food intake and ensure that one does not overeat.
There are some  things which most of the people who are not health conscious are doing.  However it does not take a herculean effort to undo these habits. Some of the things which one can work on  regarding their food intake are -
Eat within 2 hours of waking up: One critical mistake most of the busy people commit is in skipping breakfast within the window of 2 hours of waking up. When you skip breakfast, you lose its stimulating benefits on your metabolic rate.
Eventually I have noticed that this makes one binge eat during the day. This will help the body produce damaging hormones, which plays havoc with both @ the physical & the emotional level.
For some a handful of nuts and a fruit will do the trick of satiating the hunger pangs. See what fits you and ensure that you keep a sharp eye on eating healthy.
Eat for every 2-3 hours: When I suggest this to my own clients or mention this in my Wellness Seminars, I get a lot of chuckles. Most of them say it is next to impossible to make time to eat something, when in midst of long meetings, seminars etc….Well my logic is “if you can make time for the rest room every 3-4 hours then grabbing a quick bite will never be a problem”.
Once you know the consequence of running on empty tanks, then I will guarantee you “that you will be a different person”. Even a fruit or a pre mixed smoothie will do the trick for people, who are on the busy lane at most  times.
Spread your protein: I notice that most people’s diets are loaded with Carbs. However proteins are essential since they are the building blocks of the body, which will aid in burning more calories at the cellular level. However ensure that the protein intake is spread over the whole day.
Stick to the options of natural protein sources like diary, lean meat, nuts and legumes. If you are lactose or gluten tolerant then check my Face book Page for some additional inputs
Focus on your food: With multitasking the norm, many people have developed the habit of eating without being conscious .if you are someone who eats in front of the Television or even read a book, then it is time to focus on what you are eating. It is important to relax while you eat.
In fact chewing for a minimum of 10-15 times per portion, is something I have been consciously trying to work on over the years. Enjoy the texture, the  taste and the smell of the food. Have a sense of gratitude before you begin, which will eventually make a huge difference at your emotional level.
Ensure your last meal is within 2 hours of bedtime: I have been working on this for a long time and eventually have ensured that I have mastered this. The results have been quite striking. Initially  I did find it difficult because my high intensity workouts are in the evening and I would be famished by the time I returned home.
However I have worked around this issue and advocate this very strongly if you intend to work on your health. For people who have noticed me shredded a lot more in the last couple of months this is the one main reason.
As I have said before “Once you know where you are going, you will eventually figure out a way”  Therefore  begin to envision the things and you will be working on most of the things that I have mentioned in no time.
With more and more people leading a sedentary & stressful life, I know that it is natural to compromise on  exercise and eating healthy. However do remember that it does catch up at some point of time. I always say that “It is easier to stay well than get well”
I hope I have made some of you put on  your thinking caps. if you feel focusing on eating healthy is a daily struggle, then do reach out to me through my website www.satishrao.in or on my Face book fan page. I will ensure that you are on the road to good health in no time.

Why Motivation Is Not Just A 10 Letter Word?

Do you feel motivated in some areas & the exact opposite in other areas? Well do not fret,I come across lot of people who do find themselves with the same predicament.
Motivation is a state of mind and I believe that one can press the right switch, by working on things around it. Just imagine “How your life would be” if you are absolutely motivated in all the areas of your life and find your greatness. Some of the ways by which one can ensure he/she is always motivated are -
What do you really want: Well does this sound funny? Well, do not be surprised. When I ask this question to people most of them are vague in their answers and sadly do not know as to what is that they really want.
Once you are clear in the head in this one area, I will guarantee you that your vision will begin to become that much more clear.
Do yourself a favour and ask yourself this question, spend some time in solitude in contemplating on this one  area & in no time you will be answering it as well.
Identify what’s holding you back: Most of the time, one tends to live a compromised life because of something or in some cases someone holding you back. Now both of us know that both the scenarios are of our own undoing and nothing else.
Once you get a grip on what is holding you back, then it is that much more  easier to move forward, towards being truly motivated.I have seen some amazing shifts with my own clients, once they get a grip on this one area.
The transformation process is truly magical from this altitude.
Take the first step: As in any endeavour, it is always the first step which according to me is the most difficult. However the Real shifts which begin to take place at the sub conscious level, is something to be experienced by one and all.
While coaching clients I always wait with bated breath for the first few steps and the joy is very similar to new parents watching their child take the first few steps. Once the first few steps are taken, then one needs to ride the momentum and that is exactly what a Life Coach like me will help facilitate.
Enlarge your vision: Once this is in place, then it is time to condition the mind by seeing yourself doing the things you always wanted to and experience the process in as much real time as possible. Remember, the mind does not know the difference between what is real and what is imagined.
Therefore by working @ the subconscious level  you are seeing the things which you always want to do and in the process creating the neural pathways for the mind to follow. If this sounds way too complicated, do read my previous Blogs on Visualization and you will be on the way in no time.
Hire a Life Coach:  Working with a Life coach will ensure you are inspired, motivated, empowered & most importantly accountable. Your life coach will take you beyond just motivation, to discover what’s really holding you back and why you’re procrastinating.
Finding the right one is not very difficult and incidentally “I am one”. working with one will ensure that you do take your Motivations to the next level which will completely transform, your life beyond your imagination.
I am so inspired when i do see my own client’s motivated  and move in the directions of some of their biggest goals. This is  I realised my “MOJO” which always  keep me going.
All of us at some time, including Life Coaches Like me, will lose out on being motivated all the time. However some of us do bounce back pretty fast, whereas some go through the experience and begin to experience the “frog in the hot water” syndrome.
However I am certain that one does not need to be in the state of not being motivated. It is a choice each one makes. I will challenge you to, take the reins in your hand and step up towards being absolutely motivated, to Live the life you deserve.  It is just one life we all have and it is our duty or Karma to live & make the best & most  of it.
I hope that I have inspired some of you to work on being motivated and begin the journey. I will look forward to hearing from you on my  Face book fan page or through my mail Id at coach@satishrao.in .

How To Overcome Workout Laziness?

When it comes to regular exercise, people do  come up with excuses and more excuses. What if I could tell you that I was in the same boat a couple of years ago, but managed to overcome this by making small shifts in the way I looked at exercise. I have never looked back since.
What I hear from people I interact with is, that lack of time and motivation are the main reasons for not developing a regular exercise regimen.
Well the first one which involves time is something none of us can do much about and better time management is what is needed here.. However when it comes to motivation, there are some  things that I have done over the years which will help one overcome your own  workout laziness.
Pick what works for you and i’m am sure, you will be talking about doing some kind of  regular exercise before the day ends.
Embrace the Long term benefits: Envision the bigger picture and see the difference being healthy, will do to you and your family. That alone  should inspire you to go outside and exercise. There is more than enough research done which suggests that regular exercise is a long term investment and will always yield rich dividends, when one does get old, irrespective of your past history and DNA makeup.
By looking at the long term benefits, I have seen many of my own clients, move out of their comfort zone and begin some kind of exercise. Remember exercise means not  just going for a run or to the gym, but being more active and on the feet for most of the time.
Set realistic goals: Inspiration will come from setting realistic goals and working towards it on a regular basis. This will happen by keeping one’s objectives practical and realising that knocking off 10Kgs or a few inches will not happen overnight. It will have to be done, with persistent effort.
When I begin working with a Client as their Wellness Coach, I always look at making small changes knowing that, the mind will not revolt against small and gradual changes over a period of time. Over the years I have personally worked on small, attainable and performance oriented goals which are very specific to my own ability.
Since this has proved a winner over a period of time to me, I do the same with my own clients by raising the bar every other week to move them gradually out of their comfort zone.
Take your workout outside:  I personally love working out and never miss an opportunity to do some kind of exercise” outdoor” couple of times a week. I advocate this to anybody who needs some kind of inspiration to inculcate an exercise regimen, because all of us connect with nature in some way or the other.
It plays a critical role on our emotions and energy levels. Even a walk in the park, couple of times a week will keep the juices flowing and bring in a sense of variety in our life.
Update your playlist: Music is something which can do wonders to a person’s frame of mind. The easiest thing to keep up the tempo is to make time, to collect your favourite music and listen to it while you are working out. By doing this, you can reduce the perception of effort and increase endurance by a few notches.
You won’t feel like you’re working as much—meaning you’ll go longer and harder. There are so many days in the gym when I have worked on some giant sets, while my favourite songs are played in the background.
Talk about your workout & find a partner: Involving your friends and family in your workout journey, does play a big role @ the physiological level. The first changes are usually noticed by your inner circle of family & friends and the positive feedback from all of them, will ensure you do not go off track.
I have also noticed that some people just go to the gym to avoid the sarcastic remarks. Being vocal about your exercise habit will make one, more Accountable which will play a big role in the long run. The Same thing works by working out with a partner, be it your office buddy or your best friend.
It will work as a push- pull strategy and if you are smart enough, you can ensure this helps you stay focused on your workouts.
Workout Laziness is something which bites each one of us in our own journey. Well some of us get bitten and move on but some do succumb. Some of the things I have mentioned above have worked for me magically, as well for my own clients over the years.
I do not see any reason as to why it cannot work for you, if you sincerely follow it. As usual I would love to hear from you on my Face book Fan Page  or at my mail Id coach@satishrao.in on my thoughts above.

It’s Time To Be The Best Version Of Yourself

How would your life change if you could be your best in terms of what you are doing? For many it might look like a mirage but for really successful people it is nothing but a daily consistent effort to move in the right direction with absolute clarity and focus.
Over the years working as a Life Coach with some of the most successful people, I have learnt that they have developed this very fine art of dwelling into their genuine version of themselves.
The easiest way to get to the point of one’s vision is to find someone who has already walked the journey and just emulate him/her..I am a keen follower of people who are good in the field of positively transforming others lives.
Every day I ensure I spend some time in learning from each one of them.
However there are clear ways to develop this one trait. These will definitely work irrespective of whether you are a CEO, doctor, lawyer, housewife or even a student. These are -
Get to know yourself: Over the years I am surprised that people do not spend enough time to know themselves. We might spend hours or days trying to know something. For that matter I know people who spend days researching on a new car, T.V or whatever they are buying, but do not make time to know themselves.
Getting to know yourself, will make you feel comfortable in your own skin and this will reduce one’s anxiety & stress to a large extent. I can guarantee, that once you begin on this journey, it is bound to make you a better person irrespective of whichever area you are focusing on.
Avoid mindless distractions: Distractions are dime a dozen in each of our life and it is well within our control to ensure it does not derail us in our most productive time. That’s why engaging yourself and others in mindless distractions aren’t worth your time or theirs.
More importantly, it will keep you from focusing on accomplishing whatever great things you might manage to achieve in life, if you set your mind to it. Some of the most successful people I have come across have worked on this diligently over the years.
They have mastered the art of not getting distracted & genuinely living the life of “Not forgetting the forest for the trees”. Unfortunately most of the people rarely stop to consider this before its too late.
Discipline & consistency is the key: I have come across so many gifted people who are absolutely brilliant in the respective fields but have not got what they truly deserve because of being in-disciplined & inconsistent.
You might have brilliant ideas but unless this area is sharpened, I do not see much headway in an individual working towards becoming his/her true version. Begin small, in regulating certain things in your life and you can build things around them.
This is how I have developed some kind of discipline over the years. I’m still trying to ensure that most of the other areas of my life are disciplined and consistent.
Make this your most exciting journey: All of us love Adventure and hence some of the biggest blockbusters and books have the adventure script woven around them. However when it comes to our own life & journey, we fail to create and more importantly live it.
Each one of us can make the journey we are in, the most exciting if we  put our mind to it. A Life Coach like me, will get  people to ignite the spark and eventually make it a roaring fire. All of us thrive when we grab opportunities and not live a mundane life.
There is so much more out there in the universe to achieve and the only person who can stop you is yourself.
If you do feel it is time to change over to be the best version of yourself, then it is time to work with a Life Coach who  has positively transformed so many wonderful people over the years.
